Hi! I’m Melissa. I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a passion for helping others to lead healthier lifestyles through good nutrition.
I’m passionate about helping others to lead healthier lives and teaching people to use nutrition to better their health. My nutrition philosophy revolves around real, wholefoods and finding balance –Â free from fads and so-called super foods.
I have a background in sport, having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) before moving on to study my Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, both at The University of Sydney.
I am heavily involved in nutrition journalism and often contribute and provide commentary to other media outlets as well. I thoroughly enjoy this aspect of my work – it’s a great outlet that combines my love of healthy eating with my creative side.Â
I am also an experienced nutrition consultant and love to work on large corporate projects and give nutrition presentations.
As an avid foodie, there’s nothing I love more than eating tasty, nourishing food and developing healthy recipes. On the weekend, you’re likely to find me at a beachside cafe, cooking up a storm in my kitchen or making beautiful, healthy platters to share with my friends and family.
