Frequently Asked Wedding Cakes Questions

“Keep in mind that many of the social media dream cakes have pricing that match their extravagant designs – creations that involve hours and hours of skillful, meticulous work.” These kinds of couture cakes can cost upwards of $25 each piece. To minimize sticker shock, set a budget for your cake right away so you and the pastry maker are both on the same page.”

“The height and total size of your cake is determined by the number of guests attending as well as the sort of cake you like. Are you looking for a round cake? Square? If there are any tiers, how many are there? We can provide you with numerous options based on this information.”

Popular components include marzipan, fondant, gum paste, buttercream, and chocolate. The cost of a cake varies depending on its size and components. The cost of a cake is usually calculated per person or per slice.

The most popular traditional wedding cake flavors are probably obvious. For a reason, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting is a classic. Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream is also very popular, though many couples save chocolate cake for the groom’s cake if they want the frosting to be chocolate.

We never charge for cake samples or consultations, and our customers are welcome to come in as often as they like. Each day, we provide eight distinct flavors, with the remaining eight prepared to order with two days’ notice.

In Australia, the average wedding cake costs $537. Couples in Western Australia and Victoria may expect to pay slightly more for a cake than the national average. Couples in the Northern Territory will spend the least on their wedding cake, coming in below average in other jurisdictions.
