Do you offer the hire/service or does the provider?

Hypley provides the platform and marketplace for users and providers to make a booking, Hireitem does not physically stock items. Individual providers or businesses supply the item.

What happens if I accidentally damage the asset?

Take photos before and after hiring the asset to ensure you do not get blamed for any damaged. When hiring an item if you don’t pay for insurance then any loss or damage to the items will be your sole responsibility. Providers should have insurance on their items, therefore you should only have to pay the premium of the insurance. We are working to make sure all providers have insurance. You can use the filters, read the listing description or ask the provider about their policy and insurances.

Can I cancel my booking or get a refund ?

You can not cancel your booking one month out. If you would like to cancel beforehand please contact your provider and the hypley team.

How does Hypley work for a provider?

Hypley is a marketplace to connect you to event organisers and more. We have provided a simple process for your business to be discovered. As a provider, you are required to firstly sign up, then post a quality listing including either a price or quote followed by details. Accept the customer’s request through Hypley if the dates suit, then interact with your customer. Once the process has been completed, provide a review/feedback and build a long term relationship with your customer. If the price is different to the one displayed on listing due to add-ons, different delivery fee providers must message Hypley so we can send the client an invoice for the exact amount. As per T & C’s all payments must strictly be through the platform or invoiced from Hypley. No invoices from providers are allowed, as this breaches our trust & safety for our users.

Claiming your Business

The best way to manage your business on Hypley is by claiming your Hypley Business Page and creating a business login. It’s a great, free way to engage the Hypley community.

After claiming your business page, you’ll be able to:

Respond to reviews with a direct message or a public comment

How does Hypley market my service?

Web-friendly formatting of your service

Every listing on Hypley generates a web page that can be easily found on Google as well as other search engines. It’s essentially a mix of input from you and a bit of science on our part.

This new web page is more likely to be near the top of search results on Google because it’s backed up by the strength of the Hypley website. Essentially, your service is instantly given a leg up because of the online reputation of Hypley as a whole.

For the best chance to have your service get found, make sure you have a robust “About the servie” section and at least 10 quality photographs.

Online advertising

At Hypley, we want to bring you the kinds of bookings you want, and lots of them. We have a team of marketers and data scientists working non-stop to bring qualified guests to your listing. Some of this is done through paid advertising, where we are spending cash to bring interested guests in the door.

In addition, we do our best to keep people engaged once they have shown interest in your service. When someone visits your listing, we’ll start to show them advertisements that feature photos of your service to keep you top of mind. This technique is incredibly effective and is automatically applied to your listing on Hypley.

At Hypley, we do more than just forward you the names of people who have clicked on our website or provide cold leads. We use behavioral analytics to refine the user experience, your listings, and more. We believe the rigor, the smarts, the data infrastructure, marketing, relationships, and qualification work that goes into delivering bookings more than justifies this amount. If the booking and experience you provide results in a lifetime relationship with the user then that is worth 20 x times more.

Will we go lower?
Hypley has coordinated with the events industry for our business model, we have also gathered feedback during covid to see if adjustments needed to be made. The good news is, everyones still happy. Businesses can successfully operate and grow with a 10% commission and don’t have issues. If you have an issue you can let us know and we will talk to businesses that are in your industry if they face the same issue.

How to Sync Calendar with Booking Management System.

Hypley uses iCal to sync your listings with your current calendars whether it is Google, Outlook, or other. This ensures your listings are always up to date so customers can book your event service.

Step by step on Hypley:

1. On Hypley go to https://hypley.com/my-listings/

2. After Clicking iCal and iCal import, copy and paste your ‘iCal link’ from Google calendar or your chosen daily calendar. To sync straight away push import manually.

How do I list my service?

To list your service, simply create an account by clicking on the “List Your Service” button on the top right and sign up. After you login, click the “Add Listing” button on the top right.

How did my business get on Hypley?

How businesses get onto Hypley

A business uploads their business listing.
A user adds a business.
A user reviews a business.

How Do I remove my listing off Hypley

Hypley publishes business information so that consumers can share their experiences about local event businesses, and because the information is typically a matter of public record and public concern. Therefore we don’t remove such information from the site.

While we understand that some business owners might prefer to keep a low profile, it’s important (and a legal right) for consumers to be able to find and share helpful information about great local businesses.

If you need to update or change the information on your business page, please submit any changes by editing your business information on wordpressmu-511738-1623684.cloudwaysapps.com and submitting a detailed note with any supplementary information. If your business is permanently or closed, please let us know by reporting it to [email protected].
