At Karma Collab Hub, we have two spacious and distinctive event venues available for lease. We welcome the local community (and those from further away!) to have their events here, as we are perfectly located in one of the Gold Coast’s hippest neighbourhoods. Karma is a more reasonable alternative for your next event because we’re BYO and our spaces are already tastefully furnished.

Our room can accommodate up to 50 people in a seminar setting, or you can go for something a little different with festival-style floor sitting, picnic-style floor seating, or a stand-up cocktail reception. We host holistic wellness events, corporate events, educational events, and creative collaborations. We’d be delighted to speak with you about how we could help you.

Pink Flamingo Gold Coast

We are ecstatic to make the facility available to the corporate sector for special events, product launches, and sumptuous soirées, among other things. For your visitors, our pleasant events team will plan and deliver an outstanding experience. The venue is a ‘one of a kind’ place that has been designed with stunning custom built furnishings and a location that will make any occasion unique. It is located in the heart of Broadbeach.

The location can accommodate 200 seated guests and 500 cocktail-style attendees. The Birdcage (placed on level 2) can also be reserved for private functions and celebrations. The location can handle events of various sizes.

Mobile Barber Shop Depot

The Depot, a 376m2 space that is a Barber Shop by day and a Gold Coast wedding venue by night, is the best location for modern lovers.

Materials such as recycled wood, pallets, exposed rafters, and copper piping, combined with antique furniture and decorating, work well with the raw space, where art and design coexist.

We also have a courtyard with views of the Surfers Paradise skyline, which adds a wonderful touch to our inner city warehouse space, which is decked out with festoon lights, cacti, and urban décor. The Depot’s event room is an eclectic mix of beautiful antiques and props that can be used for your private event.

Cedar Creek Lodges

How do I choose an event venue?

The earlier you start, the better. You can start looking for a location once you have a strong idea of the following three factors: budget, projected event size, and space requirements.
Book a venue at least 4-6 months ahead of time to give yourself the time to think about other important details like food, event brochures, and websites.

How long before an event should you book a venue?

If you want to book the full venue, you should book at least five to six weeks ahead of time—possibly even more depending on the size of the facility.

How do I book my event?

What are my decorating options?

We work nicely with a variety of decorator services, which you can hire or decorate yourself. A list of all decorating rules can be found in the contract. Please keep in mind that the personnel of the Convention Center does not provide or place decorations or meeting materials. For additional information, see our Meeting Services page.

What is considered a large venue?

For a standing crowd, a decent rule of thumb is six square feet per person. If you’re hosting a cocktail hour for 100 people who will all be standing, multiply 100 by 6 to find that you’ll need a location with 600 square feet of available and usable space.

What exactly is a venue site fee? Site fees are intended to pay the expense of renting your venue, and nearly every location you’re considering for your big day will charge one. Venues that merely supply a location with minimal extra services can expect to charge higher site fees.
